Izzah beraya di rumah mak tok dan tok bak di Keramat tahun ni. Nasib lah I sempat siapkan baju raya dia ni. Boleh lah buat sesi forografi di pagi raya.

Baju kurung raya je yang baru. Tudung raya re-cycle tahun lepas punya. Masih cantik dan muat lagi. Pakai pun bukan lama sangat.

Hmmm… gaya Dato’ Izzah Nabihah bergaya nih. Gelaran Dato’ sendiri punya tahu bukan jadik Datin sebab kahwin dengan Dato’ okeh.

Tak ada ramai orang dekat rumah Mak Tok di pagi raya. Cuma ada cousin Izzah dua orang dari Temerloh je. Tapi tak lama jumpa mereka sebab diorang dah nak balik Temerloh semula.

Sebelum mereka balik… kena salam dan mintak duit raya dulu!

Sebab tak ramai orang besar dekat rumah Mak Tok, Izzah tak dapat banyak duit raya.

Beriya kira duit raya ye? Jangan tertipu… itu Izzah tengah main iPhone I tuh!

Opps… tudung dah terbang. Tengok tu… iPhone tak nak renggang. Izzah suka guna iPhone I belajar macam-macam.

Izzah was having fun running around the house’s compound… playing with her bigger cousins and dear uncles.

Oh.. did I mention she even made friend with a cow? Oh yes…just look at the picture below.

On the second Hari Raya, all of us (5 families) went to Kuala Terengganu together. We visited my mom’s relatives. Well, Jerteh and Kuala Terengganu is about 90+ km from each other. So, it was another time-consuming journey.

And, my sister almost get stucked at one of my cousin’s house. Because her dear daughter left the car key inside their Naza Ria which auto-locked upon closing the door!

My brother, cousins and nephews were trying hard to get the key from the car, or try to peel the door open. It was hot outside the house and my sister’s temper is getting hotter too… ha..ha

Luckily, after a good 30 minutes of trying, my brother managed to slightly open the window and took the key on the back dashboard using a hanger! So, everyone was happy and smiling again…muah..ha..ha

After feasting on ketupat, rendang, nasi beriyani and tapai… we have a fun photo session.

All my sibbling’s and families (except my eldest brother) were there!! So, imagine the excitements and happiness… oh.. I missed the moments already.

Well, kids were the most excited during Hari Raya. Because they would get the Duit Raya. It was fun watching all my nieces and nephews queuing for duit raya from my mom, hubby, brothers and sisters.

Of course, Izzah joined the fun too!

Kalau cuti start kira Sabtu 19hb sampai hari ni 27hb… jumlahnya 9 hari me cuti direct you! Oh.. sungguh bestnya cuti lama-lama duduk rumah ni tau.

Ye la.. me balik kampung Sabtu.. pastu balik KL semula Selasa… dan hari cuti yang berbaki me lepak kat rumah semata-mata. Dapat la merasa jadi WAHM (work at home mom) sekejap. Best lah!! Nak lagi… nak lagi cuti!!

Dalam masa melepak tu me sempat juga mengemas dapur (dan buang segala harta karun yang simpan ntah nak bagi menantu agaknya)… pastu sudah semestinya online berblogging…seronok mak.

Cuma hari ni, me login masuk system office kejap… tengok email yang berlambak… dah sambung sikit lagi kerja office supaya esok tak de la me tensen kena buat semua tu…he..he..he

Malam tadi me tidur pukul 2 pagi sebab duk compile gambar Cutest Baby with Bottle… asyik bercuti hampir terlupa me yang result nak kena announce.. pastu new contest nak keluar lagi.. Then, kelam-kabut email Chris Photobook Malaysia minta send eVoucher bulan September (raya punya pasal la buat semua ni last minute). Chris o Chris.. jangan lupa send me the eVoucher ye…please! he..he..he

After reaching the Lebuhraya Pantai Timur, our journey was very smooth. There were many cars but no jam.

I took turn driving while my hubby tried to sleep at the back seat. He tried!!

Well, I think he managed to nap for a couple of minutes before I stopped at the last stop on the highway. Perhentian Kuantan, I think.

He said I was speeding. That’s why we reached the last stop so fast. 120km per hour.. is it considered speeding? Ha..ha

Ohh.. I remembered my brother told me that as long as we do not exceed more than 10km/hour from the speed limit (110km/hour)… then we would be fine. I mean, the police will not issue a summon for speeding.

Hmmm… I wonder whether it’s true. Because, I saw a policeman in the middle of the highway dividers… taking the speed of cars… while I was overtaking a car on the fast lane at 120km/hour!

Okay… the journey was tiring. Izzah sat in her car seat in the morning. But, she was getting uncomfortable as … BACA SELANJUTNYA

You see, this is the third year in a row that I couldn’t ‘balik kampung’ to the East Coast to celebrate Hari Raya with my mom (dad passed away a year ago) and my 6 siblings with their families.

2006 – I was on a three month trainings in Singapore and was allowed to take the 1st and 2nd day to celebrate. But, need to fly back to Singapore on the third raya.

2007 – I was two months pregnant and was medically advised not to take a long journey (it took 8-10 hours car ride to get to my kampung)

2008 – I was only allowed to take the 1st and 2nd day leave for hari Raya. And, back to work on the third raya because early of the month is the closing of accounts time (furthermore, it’s year-end-closing in my company).

So, imagine how sad my mom was . It took a few calls to make her understand. Also, a strong promise to ‘balik kampung’ … BACA SELANJUTNYA

The fasting month is just around the corner. And, so does Hari Raya!

Hari Raya this year is more meaningful to us because:

• we have the little princess to celebrate it with (horay!)
• we’re celebrating it at our new little cottage (finally, we can put the blinking raya lights anywhere that we like – the fence, the car porch, the garden… because our space is very much bigger than the old tiny apartment).

And, shopping for a baby girl’s cloth is actually very (very) fun. I’m dazzled with all those pretty dresses!

I want to buy them all.. he..he..he
