Eh.. baca blog pun boleh tau diaorang cakap macam mana? Ala.. zaman teknologi canggih. Video ada. Takde video pun ada mak yang tulis balik setiap ayat yang anak dia cakap. Easy maaah.

Tapi anak ana sorang ni lambat benar nak bercakap. Tak ada satu ayat complete pun pernah keluar dari mulut dia. Nada. Nil. Ayat Bahasa Melayu pun tarak. Ayat English pun tarak. Ayat Mandarin lagi tarak. Ayat Arab pun sama la tarak juga.

Ana takde risau sangat pun pasal speech delay ni.. cuma kadang-kadang hot to the pot sebab Izzah asyik cakap bahasa dia tapi kita tak faham. Nak something tapi yang keluar.. ek..ok..ek ..ok… pastu syu sya syua dhat.. syeh.. syu.. *bahasa Izzah la ni…he..he*

Sekali dengar ada gaya tengah cakap dalam English tapi masalahnya ana tak faham…kih..kih..kih. Betul tau.. macam speaking London.. tapi sepatah haram mama dia cannot digest. Nasib la ana ni ada motherly instinct.. walaupun tak boleh faham di telinga apa yang dia kata.. tapi yang magic tu ana boleh faham by

I think yang jual wall sticker mahal-mahal tu pun ambik dari source yang sama (China la mana lagi).. sebab sama je sebijik.

Anyway.. sticker mahal yang dapat free dulu dah selamat kena koyak dengan Izzah *tampal kat bedroom*. So, ingat nak tampal sticker murahan pulak..he ..he

Tapi…. belum sempat tampal the little girl sudah mengambil tempat strategik dengan memijak bantal. Dia nak tampal.. tak mahu bagi I buat.. hoh.. very genius already maahh

Ini lah hasilnya air tangan budak 2 tahun menampal sticker on the wall. Sangat artistik dengan burung terbalik bertenggek di dahan… muah..ha..ha

Anyway.. sticker itu hanya mampu bertahan beberapa hari sebelum dikoyak oleh si penampalnya.

Dah koyak okey la… tapi si kecik membuat keputusan menggantikan seni sticker di dinding dengan lukisan berasaskan PEN *pengsan*. Habis lah cat Nippon tu… hu..hu

Dia ni bukan saja bijak tapi pandai berlakon. Pura-pura menangis tapi tak ada air mata.

Kalau menangis uwaaa… uwaaa… tapi kering je mata.. apa maknanya? Berlakon la tu. Bijak.. bijak. Skill berlakon ini dipelajari dari me la..ha..ha

Selain berlakon dia juga suka melukis atau menconteng. Kalau me lambat je bagi kertas, dia akan belasah melukis di buku nota babahnya… atau di meja… atau di kaki. Memang dia sangat bijak mencari aleternatif kepada kertas.

Quite impressive for a 16 months old baby, isn’t it?

Eventhough it’s just a meaningless scribbles, but it was a good start. She’s learning to use a pencil and paper now. I mean she really knows that pencil is to be used on paper (not on her cloth, palm, floor, face or wall….ha..ha..).

Well, I already bought her some drawing books, crayons and coloring pencils. But, I think I will not let her use all that as yet. It’s best to let her learn grasping the pencil correctly first.

Baby is as curious as a cat. They want to know more and more while exploring things around them.

Arts is not an exception. We should encourage our baby to explore and learn arts as this will stimulate their right brain (inspire creative thinking).

It’s is okay to become DIRTY in the process. Don’t let… BACA SELANJUTNYA

Besides physical milestones, she also understand instructions. Not just a simple one word instruction, but also a longer instruction in English! Tak sia-sia mama ajar ko English nak..he..he

Here are some instructions that she understand and follow.

Mama: Don’t go over there. Come back here!

She is crawling or walking to the front door but I’m in the middle hall. She will stops, looks at me and turns back!

Mama: Give this thing to mama!

She is holding something in her hand and hand it over to me when I asked.

Mama: Go to babah and kiss babah!

She will walk to her babah and start kissing non-stop…ha..ha..ha

Mama: Come here. Let’s change your diaper first.

She is playing but will stop and come to me so I can change her diaper…hu..hu

And, of course she understands simple instruction like don’t, no, smile, clap your hand, let’s eat, switch on the light, let’s play, jangan, eat, makan, mandi, bye-bye, salam, sleep and much more!

I’m so happy and excited ni..la la la (mama emma, orang hepi kena sebut la la la kan?)

Memanglah. Mak mana yang tak excited dengan setiap benda yang baby dia lakukan. Walaupun orang lain kata, “ahhh… benda kecik pun excited“. Ataupun ada yang kata,”alahhh… baby aku dah lama dah buat benda tu… tak heran pun.”

Hoh! Me apa peduli. Me nak excited me punya suka lah…ha..ha..ha

Cuba cakap siapa yang tak excited bila baby dia boleh panggil “mama” atau “mak” atau “mommy” atau “ummi” atau “bonda”? Bohonglah kata tak excited.

Pastu, kalau baby dah boleh meniarap, dah boleh duduk, dah boleh gelak bila di agah, dah boleh merayap macam soldier, dah boleh merangkak, dah tumbuh gigi, dah boleh berdiri, dah boleh cakap, dah boleh berjalan….dan macam-macam lagi dah bolehnya…

Boleh tahan diri ke dari menjadi excited mah? Ha..ha..ha

Honestly, me tak boleh tahan. Mesti mau excited punya…… BACA SELANJUTNYA

I don’t really want to compare my baby with others. Each baby has her own milestones.

But, when my mom keep on comparing with my nephews and nieces – I feel like oh, is this so unusual?

Most of my nephews and nieces (I got 28 by the way), can walk from 9 months to 12 months. Hoh, at 9 months you see!

Izzah can stand on her feet unsupported. But, she refused to take that little first step. I believe this is normal. She will walk when she is ready.

But then, it ain’t feel good when people keep on asking, “Has she walk?”. And, the look on their face when I said, “Emmm, not yet“. Pressure tahap maksima mah!

I also hope she will walk soon because she is 10kg already…heavy you see! ha..ha..ha
