Finally. Me dah tak payah menangis tak berlagu, tak payah menunggu bagai pungguk rindukan bulan, Sebab me dah campak itu Celcom berukband broadband dalam kotak tisu (takkan nak campak dalam tong sampah pulak.. mahal woo beli modem USB tu…ha..ha..ha ).

Me sekarang dapat bertenet ber-internet tanpa batasan… yes!

Masa mula-mula duduk Meru ni me pakai Maxis Broadband. Oh… sangat la menyakitkan hati. Bukan salah Maxis Broadband tu. Salahnya sebab area Meru ni tidak tercapai oleh sentuhan magis Maxis Broadband. Coverage broadbandnya paling minimum ….hu hu

Lepas tu pakai Celcom Broadband pulak. Waaaah… lagi pantas dari Maxis Broadband…me sangat teruja. Tapiiiii… lama-lama dia pun macam semakin slow. Dulu kalau malam hijau je lampu (hijau = full coverage)… sekarang asyik merah je pulak (merah = limited coverage).

Nak download email kat Outlook pun bercinta lebih sejam. Apa lagi nak surf internet…hu..hu

Tapi itu semua sudah menjadi sejarah! Sebab me baru pasang fixed line dan pakai Streamyx wireless… yeha!

Anyway, the study room looks like a wrecked ship right now. I have arranged all our books nicely on the wall racks. But, there are still some unopened boxes that we brought from our previous house. Masih tak de mood nak mengemas..he..he

So, where do I blog from? Well, my temporary work station is located where the stupi* Celcom broadband signal is at the highest. Where I can go online without getting so many disconnection… tapi most of the time hampehhhh… (nak tunggu masuk fixed line baru boleh apply streamyx pulak).

Back to the question, where do I blog and do my work from?

So, I’m saying good bye to the old pal’, IBM Think Pad T42. Thank you for being a good partner for 3 years.

The first day I received the lappie from IT, I was totally lost. It took me half-a-day to become familiar with the new Dell. And, of course I fall in love with it so much!

Dell Latitude D630 comes with a docking station, an adaptor and the new Windows Vista OS.

The Microsoft Office 2007 made me completely lost as I was so used to MS Office 2003. But, after toying with it for some times, I found MS 2007 is absolutely wonderful. I loike!

Hmm.. I must replace Window XP in my own laptop (Compact Presario) at home to Window Vista asap!!!

Arghh! Half-a-day was wasted just like that on a shoutbox script which doesn’t work… huwaaa!

Actually I got the script from WordPress plugins directory i.e Wordspew 1.16 shoutbox.

I followed the ReadMe file closely. And, all the files were perfectly installed in the plugins folder.

But, when I tried typing an entry into the shoutbox, there was an error saying certain files couldn’t be find in my server. Erk!

Haiya… letih woo…

I was not giving up so easily. So, I tried again and again….. and again (more than 10 times). But, seems the luck was not with me.

You see, being a non-IT background lady, php scripts are alien to me. But hey.. who said an accountant can not mingle with php and html?

At least, I’m now very familiar with html codes. And, has not fear in ammending html bits and pieces.

But, for the Wordspew scripts — I raised a white flag. Enough for the day. Perhaps, I’ll try again some other day… ha..ha..ha (laughing out… BACA SELANJUTNYA
