On 30 July 2007, I had little brownish discharge. It was so little, so I thought it was implantation bleeding.
But what is implantation bleeding? This is what I got from one of the website.
Implantation bleeding occurs when an egg has been fertilized and implants into the lining of the uterus. Because the lining uterus is made up of blood, there can be a bit of blood expelled in some women.
Implantation will appear before you expect your period and many people mistaken it for spotting before their period begins. As mentioned before, most women do not experience a full on bleeding with implantation. Instead, they may experience a bit of spotting in their panties or even some pinkish or brown discharge. This usually is usually not a flowing type of blood, so if that is what you are experiencing it might be better to assume that you have your period.
There are a lot of website talking about implantation bleeding, but none give a correct details of this type of bleeding. Some said it was brownish discharge visible only when wipe, some said it’s pink and lighter than normal period and etc.
And, I assumed it was implantation bleeding because I continue spotting the brown discharge for the next few days.
After 5 days, it got heavier and change it’s color to maroon. And, I know immediately that my IUI procedure failed. I had my period on 4th August 2007.
My feeling? So very frustrated and extremely sad!!!
So, I thought to rest from the treatment for one month. But, because September is the start of fasting month, I decided to try one more time in August.
